DESIGNED FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS · ONE-DAY & MULTI-DAY

Private Photography Tours in Oman

Be in the right place when the light is at its best. Tours built for photographers, led by local photographers and specialist guides, for individuals and small groups across every governorate.

WHY TRAVEL WITH US

Tours planned by photographers, for photographers

These are not sightseeing tours. I have been photographing Oman since 1991, and I know which wadi glows at sunrise, which dune catches the last light, and when the fog rolls over the mountains of Dhofar. With a team of experienced photographers and specialist local guides, I plan every day around light, composition and the shot you came for.

We know every region of the Sultanate that matters to photographers, from the Hajar Mountains and the Sharqiya Sands to the wadis, the coast, the old villages and the people who live there. You arrive in position before the light, with time to set up, and leave with images, not just memories.

Timed for the light

Every location is planned for sunrise, sunset, blue hour or night sky, so you are always set up in time.

Led by photographers

Photographers who know every viewpoint and its conditions, with help on technique only when you want it.

Private or small group

Small numbers mean space for every tripod and time to work each scene properly.

Logistics handled

Insured 4x4 vehicles and hotels arranged along the route, so you can focus on photography.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be an experienced photographer?

Yes. We can book hotels along your route, and all tours use 4x4 vehicles with comprehensive insurance, so you can reach remote locations safely and comfortably.

What camera gear should I bring?

A 24–70mm lens will be your most-used lens, and a telephoto lens such as a 70–200mm is very useful for mountain layers and dunes. Most of the time you will shoot handheld, so a tripod is only needed if you plan long exposures. A headlamp is useful for early starts and night work. We send a full packing list after booking.

How far ahead should I book?

October to April is our high season, so we recommend booking 12–18 weeks in advance. For tours from July to September, 8–12 weeks is usually enough.

What does a tour cost, and what is included?

Every tour is tailor-made, so prices depend on the length, regions and group size. All tours include guiding by local photographers and insured 4x4 transport, and hotels can be added on request. Contact us and we will send you a quote within 48 hours.
